I have to admit, I was not a fan of blogs when I first heard about them. Who really cares about my day to day life anyways? But, just like with facebook, I am a convert. I have been blogging with the other managers at work, I have started following blogs of friends and family. I have been INSPIRED! Mainly by my cousin Kate, who has started to blog about her 2 adorable little girls and their life in MN- it's been such a fun way to keep in touch since I don't get to see them as often as I'd like! I have always wanted to be one of those people who takes pictures, scrapbooks, and crafts. I truly thought I'd be that type of a mom! But, the reality of my life has gotten in the way. So, I am going to try this modern form of the above. I will blog!!
The hardest decision about starting a blog is to pick a title! As cheesy as it is, the Kabotoff Klan seemed appropriate. The double 'K' has felt like a bit of a trend for me- Scott and I had our first kiss at the Kollege Klub (fondly known as 'the KK') in Madison, Wisconsin. In September 2006 we got married in Keystone, Colorado and I became a K.K. myself! One of our Denver friends even lovingly put Scott in her phone as 'Kabby Kabotoff.' Had I known, I could have named Adriana something with a 'K' when she joined our Klan in July! Maybe number 2... Either way, the Kabotoff Klan it is...
I hope to use this blog as a way to share, and remember, all our fun moments with family and friends. I hope that this will also become a fun way for our out-of-town friends and family to know what's going on down here in Colorado. So, enjoy!
